Dirty Dancing is a romantic film released in 1987 and directed by Emile Ardolino. The film obtained a great comercial success and is a classic of 80' age.
The story is about a dancing teacher called Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze), who meets to Baby Houseman (Jennifer Grey) in a hotel where She is vacationing. He works in this hotel and she is an adolescent. The are a lot of differences. Baby is dreamer and idealist and she fall in love of Johnny. After a lot of problems he learns about the love and she knows about the sex. It is around the music.
The soundtrack of the film won an Academy Awards and a Golden Globe. The song (I've Had) The time of My Life was very popular.
